JSC is an Afro-Caribbean, process artist working out of Chicago, IL.
As an early career visualist and space curator, they engage with material, hand painting and collage methods to uncover and cover thematic Knowings in the Black experience: Ancestral re-memberance, power dynamics and the effect of space on the bod(ies) score.
